How to commission a
portrait:
First, if you are in the Ocala area you can call me at 352-512-2606; we will set up an appointment to talk about your vision for the portrait. You can e-mail or mail me a high quality (300 dpi) photograph of the subject. From there, we will discuss what style of painting, colors, background, etc. you would like. I love to add little details to make the subject come to life, so thoughts and ideas are always welcomed.
Second,
choose the size of your hand painted custom portrait $200 (8"x10") or $400 (11"x14). Once
50% of the fee is received, the project begins.
Thirdly, I create a sketch from the photos you sent me and
send you a proof through e-mail. Once the
sketch is approved, I will begin the painting process. I will send proofs throughout the whole
project to make sure that you are absolutely in love with it. When the portrait is finished I will send it
to you through e-mail for final approval.
Please note that when you commission a portrait the process
is usually three weeks. However, it may
be longer depending on previous commitments.
I can accommodate a shorter deadline but a rush charge will be applied
to the total.
Finally, once the painting is completed, and approved by you,
the final 50 % of the commission is due.
